Passport Promise Project will work endlessly to achieve our goal to broaden young minds via travel. With the help of inner-city high school counselors, colleges, and other non-profits we plan to reach under-served inner-city young adults ages of 17 – 21 of Afrian descent. Applicants must write a 300-word essay to answer the question “Why I want a passport?” and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Based on the content of the essay our organization will pick which deserving applicants to gift and take them through the process of obtaining a passport. In that year, all recipients will receive an overseas trip all expenses paid chaperoned by the Passport Promise Project mentors.
Wherein they will have an educational travel experience. After the travel experience, they must also write another 300-word essay to answer the question “How will I use this experience of travel to change the world or community around them”? These essays will be posted and used for blog and presentation purposes. We invite the program participants to volunteer and help future recipients. If our organization speaks to your heart, please get involved, we always need role models and people who care to help shape a young mind through travel for the betterment of the black community.
